The Policy Playhouse is looking for actors to participate in a unique theater opportunity that combines low-stakes fun with culturally significant storytelling. This is your chance to collaborate with both emerging and established artists to bring two impactful plays to life through staged readings.
The two plays featured are:
Safe Harbor by James McLindon, which explores the legality of life-saving medical care for women in a post-Roe America.
Mrs. Davis’ Desk by Alara Kohn, a thought-provoking piece that delves into themes of personal and social identity.
Safe Harbor will be presented on Friday, March 28, and Mrs. Davis’ Desk will be presented on Saturday, March 29. Both readings will be followed by policy forums and audience talkbacks.
